Quintessence trousers are men's trousers from the refined Ombre line, mainly chinos – in slim fit and regular fit cuts, plain or with a subtle texture – plus comfortable piqué knit trousers.
The most recognisable are the SLIM FIT chinos with a decorative waistband tape, made from cotton with 2% elastane. The tape accentuates the waist, and the elastane helps them fit the body. The second group is REGULAR FIT chinos with an elasticated waist and turned-up hems, including styles in a polyester-viscose blend. For warm days there are turn-up chinos with added linen, and for everyday wear piqué knit trousers with viscose and a drawstring.
Quintessence trousers come in sizes S–XXL (some styles up to XL). Measure your waist and hips and compare them with the size chart. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one for slim fit, and the smaller one for elasticated styles, as the waist is easy to adjust.
Slim fit chinos are the base of an outfit with a Quintessence blazer and a shirt, while regular fit ones look good with a viscose polo or a jumper. In summer, pair the linen trousers with a linen shirt. You will find other cuts, such as jeans and cargo trousers, in the men's trousers category.
The colours are black, navy, greys, beiges, browns, olive and khaki. Wash chinos inside out at a low temperature and iron them while slightly damp so they keep their smart look.
