Ombre women's skirts are mainly high-waisted mini skirts and flared midi skirts – satin, lace-trimmed, with layered ruffles, embroidery and appliqués.
Mini skirts have a fitted or straight cut and an above-the-knee length; they stand out for details such as a draped front with a decorative knot, vertical sculpting slits or a woven cord appliqué. Midi styles are flared and light, often satin. Most skirts are polyester, some with viscose or linen, and lined styles hang better.
The skirts come in sizes S–L or S/M–M/L. Measure your waist at its narrowest point – that is where the waistband of high-waisted styles sits. Pair a mini skirt with a looser blouse or jumper, and a midi with a fitted top and a short blazer. Colours: black, beige, white, pink, yellow and blue.
