Ombre women's jumpers are cardigans, pullovers, mock necks, zip-collar jumpers and long openwork cover-ups – from warm wool knits to light, lacy layers.
The most popular are cardigans: with a V-neck and a tie waist, with patch pockets and knitted ties, in shades of brown, beige and ecru. For cold days, a zip-collar jumper with a high wool content (80% wool, 20% polyamide) or a ribbed off-the-shoulder jumper with a wide turn-down collar is a good choice. A lighter option is openwork jumpers with a ruffle at the neckline and long lace cover-ups with a tie waist.
Women's jumpers are mainly blends: wool with polyamide, viscose or acrylic, and cotton with polyester in the lighter styles. The wool content adds warmth, while polyamide and elastane help the knit keep its shape. The exact composition is listed for every style.
