Quintessence jackets are men's jackets from the refined Ombre line – styles that combine warmth and functionality with a look that suits a coat or blazer.
The collection covers both winter and transitional jackets. The casual puffer jacket has a wool-blend outer fabric (70% polyester, 30% wool) and is hand-filled, which helps the insulation spread evenly. The long hooded parka is lined with faux shearling, and the quilted bomber has metal zips and a printed lining. For spring and autumn, there is a textured biker jacket with a stand-up collar and a triangular faux leather patch, and a light jacket with a mesh lining and hood, whose fabric is less susceptible to water.
Quintessence jackets come in sizes S–XXL. If you wear a blazer or chunky jumper underneath, compare the chest measurement in the size chart, allowing a few centimetres of room. For the parka, check the length – it should cover the hips.
Pair the wool-blend puffer or the bomber with a Quintessence jumper and chinos, and the biker jacket with dark jeans and a roll neck. For more formal occasions, Quintessence coats work better. All styles from other lines are collected in the men's jackets category.
The colours are muted: black, navy, greys, olive, dark green and beige, often in a marl version. Close the zips before washing, and do not wash wool-blend jackets at high temperatures. Dry the puffer and parka laid flat, shaking out the insulation from time to time.
The warmest are the well-insulated wool-blend puffer jacket and the long parka lined with faux shearling. Both work well in winter.
The light jacket with a mesh lining and hood has a technically reinforced fabric that is less susceptible to water. Details are given in the product description.
